Coaches that are applying to SurDel for the first time are asked to fill out the Team Official form which can be found by clicking the red New Registrations button on the top left corner of the home page.

The Delta Coastal Selects’ teams will participate in the Metro Select League (“MSL”), which organizes and operates competitive boys’ and girls’ leagues for the second highest level of play for youth soccer in B.C., the EA Sports BC Soccer Premier League (“EABCSPL”) being the top level. Consistent with BC Soccer’s Mission “to continue to be committed to a comprehensive approach to improve player development in B.C.”, the purpose of the Delta Coastal Selects (“DSC”) program is to create a professional environment and framework which players within DSC regional partnership can be afforded a stronger linkage with the EABCSPL. 

Delta Coastal Selects will: provide MSL players with the opportunity for cross-training between MSL and EABCSPL teams; create better visibility of MSL players towards their potential progression to an EABCSPL team; and be able to leverage the infrastructure and resources of its partner clubs.  In short, the DCS program is meant to create a clear and professional player development pathway from club-level soccer to the MSL level, ultimately leading to players advancing to the EABCSPL.

Leading this new enhanced regional program will be key individuals from SurDel Girls Soccer Club  and the North Delta Soccer Club, with administrative oversight provided by representatives of all of the DCS clubs.  Ajit Braich (National A-License coach and North Delta Technical Director) will oversee the DCS Technical Committee, which is made up of the Technical Directors of each of the DCS clubs.  The Technical Committee will be responsible for the overall technical development and implementation of the DCS program.
