As a reminder to all coaches, at the end of training sessions and games, please ensure that the players have a safe ride home. If the players are staying at the field/gym awaiting pick up from their parents, please that a coach or female designate (someone who is carded) stays with the player until the player is picked up. If picking up of players in a timely manner is a problem, please address it with the team’s parents or individual parents. If you have any question on this matter or require clarification, please contact Kelly Raby at kellyraby@dccnet.com.
Thank you for your attention to this type of player security issue. Kelly Raby, President, Surdel Girls Soccer Club

NET REMINDER - When you are finished with utilizing the nets at Dennis Elsom field, please either return them to their storage locations at the North and South end of the field or discuss with the on coming coach if he will be utilizing them. If not, they need to be put away.
On many occasions there have been various nets left on the field and volunteers have had to come forward to put other coaches nets away.
Coaches,
Equipment is being put into the incorrect field box at Mackie and Dennis Elsom fields. At Mackie, there are two Greenlee style tool boxes like the one shown below. The box on the right hand side (east) belongs to SurDel. It has a SurDel sticker on the front. The other box does not belong to SurDel nor does it have a lock on it. Please do not use it.
At Dennis Elsom , there are two black Rona Xpert tool boxes like the one shown below. The box on the left hand side (east) belongs to SurDel. It has the words SurDel on the front. The other box belongs to the boys club.
SurDel has several new club banners available for team use. These can be borrowed for fundraisers, tournaments and so on. They measure 4' X 10' and have brass grommets for easy hanging from your team canopy (team to supply own straps). Show your club spirit and sign one out today. Please contact Kevan Cornes for more information.

Please note that our field lining paint will not stick to gravel fields in the rain. If you need A/W lined and it is NOT raining you need to call the field liner for that field 1 hour before your game. If it IS raining you will need to use cones.
