Equipment is being put into the incorrect field box at Mackie and Dennis Elsom fields. At Mackie, there are two Greenlee style tool boxes like the one shown below. The box on the right hand side (east) belongs to SurDel. It has a SurDel sticker on the front. The other box does not belong to SurDel nor does it have a lock on it. Please do not use it.
At Dennis Elsom , there are two black Rona Xpert tool boxes like the one shown below. The box on the left hand side (east) belongs to SurDel. It has the words SurDel on the front. The other box belongs to the boys club.
To gain access to both field boxes, we keep a key inside a realtor key box like the one shown below. The key box hangs on the handle of the field box. This key will open a padlock on the front that is protected behind a covered hasp. Contact one of our equipment managers for the access code. See the contacts page for their email or phone number.
Some things to keep in mind:
- Always put the nets and flags back in the box when finished.
- Never allow other clubs or teams to use the equipment as they don't have access to the lock box - no matter how much they beg. Each club has its own equipment.
- Please treat it like your own - it costs the club substantial dollars to replace.
- Always put the key back in the realtor key box and reset the code.
- Finally please report any damage, defacing or malfunction of the box to SurDel - or me!
