The U18 Bronze Leaping Leprechauns have made it to the Coastal Cup finals in Langley on March 29th.
After getting off to a slow start this season, the small green machine got into gear for the Cup round robin, going 3-0 and outscoring their opponents 18-4. Led by keeper Aimee Flemmer, they won the next three elimination games by a combined score of 13-1. Coached by local soccer legend PJ O'Neil with the assistance from Emma Frew, the girls have really responded to the challenge of a grueling practice and off-field conditioning schedule.
The Leprechauns, who will face SFC Mustangs in the final, are comprised of: Jess Brodie, Danielle Calla, Casey Deroche, Danielle Deyagher, Aimee Flemmer, Sarah Frew, Madeline Green, Lauren Hamilton, Veronika Holek, Erin Koch, Leanna Lonsdale, Meghann McGrath, Shea O'Neil, Steph Parkes and Miranda Scott.
