SurDel Equipment Finds a New Home
Retired school teacher, Brian Holden, recently took some of SurDel's old jerseys, shorts and soccer balls down to Peru. As he told me "the kids were blown away with the equipment and were very appreciative of the clubs donation". As you can tell from some of the pictures the kids had a great time playing in the mud with their sandals and new gear. As Christmas draws near it puts even more of an emphasis on appreciating what we have at home here as well as the facilities, equipment and outstanding club spirit that SurDel has. A big thanks to Brian for lugging the gear down there and also to the SurDel Executive for supporting this initiative.
FIFA Womens World Cup Logo Launch
![]()
On Dec 14, 2012 several players from SurDel were invited to participate in the launch of the official logo of the 2015 Womens World Cup at BC Place Stadium. The internationally broadcast event was seen live across Canada on TSN. This was a fantastic event for our club players to be involved with as not only were they involved with the production of the event but were able to hang around with the Canadian Womens National team and coach John Herdman. After the launch was over there were lots of smiles and stories floating around amongst the players about an event they will remember for a long time. Check out the pictures from BC Place Stadium.

North Delta Delta Days - June 24, 2012
SurDel was proud to show off their club colors by taking part in the 2012 North Delta Days family parade and BBQ. Pardeep along with a full ensemble of parents met on Saturday and Sunday to build a fine looking float and players from various mini teams and some of our older teams came out to blow up ballons and help with decorating. Special thanks goes out to our friends at Roadway Towing for donating their 12 ton flat deck truck and driver for the day. Well done SurDel!
